The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts will host its free annual Christmas at the Coop exhibit for families and children of all ages from December 14 – December 21, 2023. Please join us for several exciting events to celebrate the holiday season!
Families are invited to participate in art activities including Goofy-Face Tree Bulbs, holiday games, enjoy hot cocoa and mulled wine, and get their photos taken with Santa during Christmas at the Coop located in the Coop Gallery (427 S. Oakes) on December 14 from 5 PM – 8 PM, December 16 from 10 AM – 12 PM, and December 21 from 5 PM – 7 PM. The SAMFA Education Studio will also host free family art projects and fun educational activities on December 16 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
On December 14, with a $5 donation, guests can design and decorate their own Christmas stockings, and on December 21, with a $5 donation, guests can paint a Wooden Nutcracker!
The Concho Clay Studio will host their 2nd Annual Christmas Sale featuring local and visiting ceramic artists on December 14th and 15th from 5pm-9pm, and December 16th from 10am-6pm. Also be sure to stop by the Concho Clay Silent Night Auction on December 15th from 5pm-9pm, auction winners announced at 8:30pm Friday evening.
Also, please join us for Family Clay Day on December 16 from 10 AM – 12 PM to create your own Ceramic Tree Topper!The museum is supported by generous contributions from both individuals and businesses, San Angelo Cultural Affairs Council, and the San Angelo Area Foundation.
