Annular Solar Eclipse 2023
🌙 Get ready for a celestial spectacle! On Saturday, October 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., San Angelo will be graced by an Annular Solar Eclipse. This incredible event occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, creating a mesmerizing “ring of fire” effect. However, it’s important to remember that observing an eclipse can be harmful to the eyes without proper protection. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we urge all visitors to prioritize eye safety. Regular sunglasses or homemade filters are not sufficient and can cause permanent damage to your vision. San Angelo offers various locations where you can safely witness this extraordinary event. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness the magic of the cosmos! Stay safe, protect your eyes, and enjoy the Annular Solar Eclipse in San Angelo. Happy viewing! 🌞🌑
