39th American Plains Artists Show and Sale at Fort Concho

Longhorns and sheep, cowboys and Indians, rustlers and bandits, thunderstorms and sunsets, mountains, deserts, and the Great Plains….it’s all part of the annual American Plains Artists 39th Annual Juried Exhibit and Sale at Fort Concho free and open to all! The Quartermaster is located at the fort’s far northeast corner near Burgess Street and East Avenue C.
All art is for sale, and a percentage of each sale benefits the artist, the American Plains Artists Association, and Fort Concho. Any purchased work remains on display until the show closes on Sunday, August 4. Regular hours will be Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10:00 am– 4:00 pm, and Sundays, 1:30 – 4:30 pm; closed on Mondays. The show is free to all. Guests can vote for their favorite work and those receiving the most votes are invited back for a special summer show at the fort in 2025.
