San Angelo, Texas: Raw 1899 Gallery, West Texas’ premier art gallery located in historic downtown San Angelo, will present Spectrum Art Show and Sale January 4 to 27, 2024, featuring works by Molly Archer, Madeline Barrows, Nathana Cox, Kathy Kromer, Kim Leabo, Ashley Perales, Tonya Rainey, Amanda Sneed, and Elise Techentine.
The Opening Champagne Reception will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 4, and the public is invited to attend free of charge and meet the artists.
This show will feature a representation of art styles from abstract to realism and everything in between, as well as various media. Each artist expresses herself uniquely with her own technique and subject matter.
“These women artists will pack the gallery with amazing art,” says Lisa Curry, co-owner of Raw 1899 with Nathana Cox. “Most are painters, and one creates beautiful art on silk scarves/ties. It will be a visually exciting show — a combination of quiet, serene pieces and others that are bold and bright and will lift you from winter doldrums. There will be art to meet almost every preference.”
