Opens April 4 at Raw 1899 Gallery

San Angelo, Texas: Raw 1899 Gallery, West Texas’ premier art gallery located in historic downtown San Angelo, will present Timeless Grit of the American Southwest Art Show and Sale April 4 to 27, 2024, featuring works by local artist Madison Marie Hope.

The Opening Reception will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 4, and the public is invited to attend free of charge and meet the artist.

Madison Marie Hope is the owner of “Thunderbird Mural & Design” in central Texas. She hand-paints custom designs and logos for clients on large-scale walls for businesses and homes.

Born and raised in the mountains of Utah, she is inspired by the history and grit of the American West and uses oil paints to recreate images of wildlife and people of the past.

“This show and art by local favorite Justin Blair in the bar side will especially appeal to those who appreciate all things ‘West,’” said Lisa Curry, co-owner of Raw 1899 with Nathana Cox. “These are large, impactful statement
paintings.”
