The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts invites the public to attend the May installment of its Art for Lunch and Sips with Seth series, hosted by Executive Director Seth Hopkins, on May 7, 2026.
This month’s program will feature Bill and Judy Campbell, stewards of the Painted Rocks Historical Site, and Dr. Jeremy Elliott of Abilene Christian University.
The Painted Rocks site in Paint Rock, Texas, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is one of the largest and most significant rock art sites in the United States. The site features Native American pictographs that date back thousands of years, recording ceremonies, stories, and moments of cultural significance. Join us for a complete discussion the importance of the site, ongoing plans to preserve it, and ways to make it more accessible to the public.
Two opportunities are available to attend on Thursday, May 7:
Art for Lunch: 12–1 PM
Sips with Seth: 5:30–7 PM
Both sessions will feature generally the same program content. A cash donation bar will be available during the evening session, and museum galleries will remain open following the program. This event is open to the public. Guests attending Art for Lunch are welcome to bring their own lunch.
