San Angelo became a Film Friendly Texas Community in 2018 through a program offered by the Texas Film Commission.
San Angelo became a Music Friendly Certified Community in 2019 through a program offered by the Texas Music Office. The San Angelo Convention & Visitors Bureau serves as the liaison for the program.
